Fueled by the release of their self-titled debut CD, The Kathy Walker
Band has been tearing up the regional festival & club circuit, and has
caused the northwest music industry sit up and pay attention.
She couldn't pull it off without a tight band to give her that rock solid foundation so intrinsic
to soul music. Kenny "The Cooler" Coleman's lilting guitar lines and Dave Fleschner's warm, vintage keyboards
(Hammond B-3, Wurly, Clav) meet with Rob Schnell's dirty drumming and Tyler Smith's mastery of bass to create a potent,
delicious groove. And of course the hi-Voltage Horns add that earnest old-school flavor to the Kathy Walker Band sound.
